CSR PROJECT FOR NOVATEUR ELECTRICALS (LEGRAND): TELEMEDICINE CENTRE at JALGAON, MAHARASHTRA
In Global Healthcare Access and Quality Index Study, India ranks 154 among 195 countries. WhiteSwan Consulting Group (WCG) along with Noveteur Electricals Private Ltd. (LEGRAND) has taken initiative in providing good quality health care facility to the rural population with the help of Telemedicine.
WCG with Noveteur Electricals Private Ltd. (LEGRAND), as a CSR initiative, sets up a Telemedicine Centre at Jalgaon, Maharashtra, India. This project aims to provide quality primary health support to the local community especially to the marginalized section of society, mostly poor, which do not have access to proper medical consultation facilities at affordable price.

About the Project:
Telemedicine facilities are setup in the nearby areas of the plant so as to provide quality medical consultation to the people living in those areas at a token price. There are qualified paramedical staffs in the center that collects basic parameters of patient, do screening by using devices and seek advice of the doctor from the hospital. The prescription is provided by the Doctor for treatment. Such center caters around 10,000 population including families of workers, contract employees and other poor families living in the area and create goodwill by generating social good.
Why Telemedicine?
In Jalgaon city where majority of the slums/poor community lives, there is a lack of availability of qualified doctors with good credentials. The community has no option but to get their medical problems solved through the medical practitioners available in that district until it gets really serious to take the patient to a distantly located hospital.
To make the access of qualified doctors with good credentials and to provide affordable medical services to the poor section of society, this project is been selected.

Consultant- Bhilwara Power facilitated employee engagement to arrest employee turnover We were hired to train the new recruits from IITs. The company was facing turnover issues, we helped them in effective employee engagement and thus bringing down the employee turnover. Conducted full 360 degrees need assessment of all target group, helped them develop their individual need maps, action plans with time bound practical methodologies, as well as their reporting formats.
A top-down interview approach was followed to get to the root of the problem. 7 step Systemic Organizational Effectiveness Model was applied, that gave good results.

The company was facing a problem of ‘ineffective internal communication’ we conducted thorough need assessment, identified the cause and effect relationships, of such mis-communication and confusion in the organization. The solutions were then identified and discussed with the top management and put into place.
A whole lot of HR and effective employee engagement strategies were adopted, where we actually hand held the teams and the team leaders to put them in place and also put in systems for review and monitoring. Effective systems for example the code library and many such systems were introduced by us, along with continuous employee development programs. The management reported better team working and higher employee happiness.

Reported Results of Multicultural, Gender Sensitivity Diversity & Inclusion Trainings:
Some Results of Multicultural & Diversity Interventions: high positive synergy between people of various regional cultures and diversities, has been reported by HR. To quote one organizational HR (world leaders in display technologies) not even a single case of harassment has reported even after one year of interventions (where earlier 40% of women complained of some or the other kind of sexual harassment)
In most organizations, HR has reported the environment to be much healthier after our training interventions. Employees understand and respect each other much more than before and respect diversities of gender, multi-cultural, region and, language. Director HR and Managers HR, both reported high effectiveness of interventions
Use of multicultural Prayers and Visualization leading to Brain-stilling is helping participants in ‘differentiating the right from wrong’, leading to lower cases of multicultural and ethnic harassments, and a steep fall in ‘false and malicious complaints of sexual harassment against men’ is observed by organizations, where we have intervened.
